Nancy - for the end user it's all about a great user experience ie does it look and feel like a little TV broadcast in your hand. And Video is bandwidth hungry. What we all need is a guarenteed Quality of Service QOS) from Mobile Operators (some way off!). The first step would be to at least know what QOS you were gettting for that session.

However for now what we can do with clever technology is dynanically adjust the bit rate and have the content cached in 'the cloud' plus a few other tech innovations. And for the customer that means they see Video without buffering.

What we have successfully done is to ensure a hugh quality end user experience on much more than just iPhones too using clever tech til the Mobile Operators can give us all high speed high QOS.

Marketers looking to ultilize this channel would do well to acquaint themselves with the concept of video bitrate. Doing so will make sure you retain visual quality but don't make viewers wait for your video to buffer in download . . . which is especially important on mobiles.
