Quadriga Consulting has developed a new web based demo for Mobile Cohesion’s HYDRALIVE
Check it out.
Quadriga Consulting will be launching a new UK-wide study into customer relationship management in local authorities across the UK. The survey – based on a unique web and blog based outreach programme – will build a picture of CRM directions and drivers in the local authority sector. The questionnaire is likely to be fielded in early March 2007. Results will be made available at a unique event later in 2007. Commenting on the study, Jeff Peel, MD of Quadriga Consulting commented, “many local authorities are using CRM as an important means of transforming citizen facing processes. The study will focus on uncovering how authorities are approaching CRM initiatives, what tools they are assessing and success measurement approaches.”
Quadriga Consulting is representing a new alliance of software vendors that will be on show at the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona from February 12-15. The SDP Alliance incorporates seven companies – each of which delivers a key component of a pre-integrated, convergent, service delivery platform (SDP) to mobile & fixed line operators. Member companies are Aepona, ChangingWorlds, Cibenix, MobileAware, Mobile Cohesion, Openet and Xiam. For further information check out the Alliance web site.
According to the Co-Chairman of the Alliance’s Steering Committee, Denis Murphy (who is also Chairman of Alliance member Mobile Cohesion), “The model for implementing service delivery platforms has dramatically shifted. With the emergence of a group of mature, standards-based, software products operators no longer face the time-to-market, cost or risk associated with entirely custom built solutions. Today system integrators can create tailored solutions based on a set of proven software products. From the operators’ perspective this means faster, cheaper and lower risk projects.”
Colm Healy, CEO of member firm Xiam, endorsed this view, “This Alliance brings together the most important elements of a SDP and offers them either as a unified whole or in a subset of best of breed products. In the past our members have worked together on an ad hoc basis on certain implementations – but now we have a more formalised and unified go-to-market, technical integration and support strategy that deliver massive benefits for target customers. Operators simply want to be able to roll out revenue generating services faster and more efficiently capitalize on their underlying assets. The last thing they want is a massive services engagement to achieve things that should be done pretty much out of the box. And, remember, we’re talking about proven, implemented and integrated solutions that have come together under one roof.”
He continued, “There are also some technical developments that have taken place over the last few years that have helped our member firms. We’re all committed to standard open interfaces based on the service-oriented architecture (SOA) and web services standards. However, the end game for the customer is lower risk, lower lifetime total cost of ownership and service deployment costs, and a more rapid return on investment.”
The SDP Alliance will be represented at the 3GSM World Congress from the 12th to 15th of February (Booth # 2J27).

Quadriga Consulting is currently undertaking a study for Microsoft’s Windows Live@Edu EMEA marketing team – looking at the challenges for universities managing student e-mail. Many universities face a considerable administrative and cost burden providing student and alumni communities modern communications channels.
Therefore, outsourcing to a best of breed player is being considered by many. If you are an ICT or Communications Head in a university and are facing this challenge please do not hesitate to contact us. We hope to publish the White Paper in the early Spring.
Quadriga Consulting International Law Enforcement Agency Survey Helps Visual Analysis Software Firm Fight Crime
A survey of 65 law enforcement agencies across 14 countries has revealed that many police forces make their own decisions in terms of information technology.
The survey, conducted by information and communication technology (ICT) research specialist Quadriga Consulting Ltd, on behalf of world-leading visual analysis software company, i2, aimed to build a clearer picture of information technology use within law enforcement agencies across the world.
Part of i2’s ongoing commitment to customer-focused product development, the survey incorporated the views of both existing and potential customers from local, regional and national police forces, as well as government and military intelligence agencies.
i2’s Marketing VP, Zoe Baxendale, said: “The survey, conducted by Quadriga Consulting Ltd, is just one of a number of ways we use to consult with the wider intelligence community.
“We are wholly committed to developing products and solutions that will benefit our customers and we regard asking them what they want as fundamental to our development and quality strategies.”
Jeffrey Peel of Quadriga Consulting, said: “This survey highlighted to i2 the importance of information and communication technology in law enforcement agencies in a variety of countries across the world.
“The survey also underlined the influence both political structures and geographical location have on the way different agencies work, emphasising the need for companies, like i2, to listen to the needs of their users.”
Zoe added: “More than 2000 law enforcement, intelligence, military and commercial organisations in over 100 countries have invested in i2′s award-winning suite of visual investigative analysis software and we pride ourselves on the service we provide to them.
“By listening to the requirements of our present and future customers across the world, we are able to develop products and solutions that will directly benefit them and the global fight against crime and terrorism.”
Notes to Editors

Davy McDonald, our illustrious designer, has given us a new look. Still featuring the Quadriga horse-head device the branding is now a tad cleaner. We thought it was appropriate to celebrate our 5th anniversary. The new Quadriga blue is now on our stationery, business cards, and even on our WordPress masthead.

We’re sometimes asked, “what’s with the horse?”. Well Quadrigae were chariots used in ancient Rome. Drawn by four horses they, apparently, went at quite a pace (think Ben Hur etc.). The four idea is a play on the 4 Ps of marketing.

Today is Quadriga Consulting’s 5th Anniversary. On the 2nd of January 2002 we started trading and, since our first month, we’ve been profitable. Nearly all the work we undertake is international, and our client list in pretty equally divided between mobile software/services and enterprise software.
We hope to grow even more in 2007 and would like to thank our clients for their business over the last five years.
Quadriga Consulting client Mobile Cohesion will be exhibiting at the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona from February 12, 2007. Mobile Cohesion provides a unique 3PRM solution called HYDRA that allows mobile operators to have better, more accountable relationships with third party content and applications providers. HYDRA is also playing an increasingly important role as a core component in Service Delivery Platforms.
At 3GSM the company will be announcing exciting new customer references and product enhancements. Media or Analysts interested in meeting the Mobile Cohesion management team should contact Jeffrey Peel at Quadriga Consulting in the first instance.
Quadriga Consulting has been commissioned to write a report, for Microsoft Dynamics, on the current state of play regarding CRM in local and regional government.
The report should be published in the New Year. The White Paper will focus on the current state of play re. CRM in the sector, the regulatory environment and will refer to case studies across Europe and beyond where local authorities are redefining citizen relationships based on CRM initiatives. If you are a local authority and would like to tell us your CRM story please do not hesitate to get in touch.
