Conversations #2: 9th September 2009, London

Friday, June 19th, 2009

Conversations #2 will take place on the evening of September 9th in London (time and venue to be confirmed).  These events are organised by Quadriga Consulting for FRONT

Following our hugely successful event earlier in the year we plan to adopt a similar format of conversations with industry experts that will be video recorded in front of a live audience.  As before, the conversations will be chaired by Jeffrey Peel of Quadriga Consulting.

Conversations #2 will focus on Broadcasting 2.0 – how web 2.0 technologies are transforming the process of communications.  Sessions will focus on what traditional media organizations need to do to embrace broadcasting technologies.  How new media can augment existing channels – for traditional marketers.  How viral techniques can transform the marketing process.  How media organizations are themselves embracing broadcasting 2.0 to provide niche content.  How streaming media is transforming the live event.

Senior members of the FRONT team will also be available to provide advice and guidance for delegates that need to better understand how to approach their next Broadcasting 2.0 project.

Just use our contact form to register for the event.  Be sure to tell us why you are interested in broadcasting/video content on the web – and we’ll try to ensure the content on the evening covers your interest area.

Quadriga Moves into FMCG

Monday, August 25th, 2008

Quadriga’s growing reputation as a provider of blog and social networking focused research tools has paid dividends in the FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) sector.  We have been awarded a major project to conduct a blog audit and tracking research by a global FMCG brand owner.

The blogosphere is becoming the new stomping ground for marketers seeking to monitor and influence opinion.  Many blogs – often run by enthusiastic individual bloggers – have huge traffic.  Bloggers can make or break brands.  Therefore, monitoring the blogosphere is becoming a significant challenge for brand owners.

As one of the few marketing consultancies that has in-depth knowledge of blogging and social networking tools – emerging from our traditional focus on the tech sector – we are uniquely positioned to offer solutions to brand owners in multiple market sectors.  In conjunction with itoi research we’re developing a strong presence in the Web 2.0 research and communications space.

Friday, September 21st, 2007

Jeff Peel, Managing Director of Quadriga Consulting Ltd, will be speaking at the Digital Hollywood event in Hollywood, LA, California on November 1 – and will be meeting with leading commentators on the digital content scene in Tinseltown.

According to Peel, “I’m delighted to be given the opportunity by Victor Harwood to speak at this important event and to present the cluster of Northern Ireland companies that are developing bleeding edge broadband-enabled web solutions.  I have already had considerable interest from LA based firms that are active in the digital content space who want to hear the ‘Northern Ireland story’.  I also hope to be able to hook up with representatives from other regional digital media clusters – such as SE England.”

Jeff will be based in Hollywood from October 30 to November 4.  If you would like to set up a meeting please email him on jeff [at] quadco.co.uk (leave out the spaces and replace [at] with @).
