Jeff Peel (Seminar Leader)

Jeff is a B2B marketing specialist with a particular focus on enterprise software, digital content, mobile/telecoms software and CRM.  His clients have included 3Com, IBM, Hewlett Packard, BT - as well as many early to mid-stage software firms, government departments and ‘digital content’ companies. He also speaks widely on the Web 2.0 marketing revolution and has spoken at industry events in LA, San Francisco, New York and across the UK and Ireland. 

Jeff is the author of a book on CRM (Butterworth 2002) and is a former VP Marketing for a CRM software firm - Amacis - acquired by ATG in 2004.  Jeff is also a former Head of Marketing Communications for a division of 3Com and was Interim Head of Marketing for Aepona (the Telecoms software company). 

Jeff was also a Director in two of the world’s leading market research consultancies - one based in London and the other in New York (Research International (RI), London and Roper ASW, Princeton, New Jersey).   He sat on the Board of RI Specialist Units in London and on the RI Group IT Strategy Committee.  

Adam Parker

Adam is Chief Executive of webitpr Limited and is responsible for the strategy, development and overall management of the business. Adam took on his executive role in early 2006, having been a Non-Executive director since the company began.

webitpr has specialised in online news distribution since its inception in 2000 and works on behalf of PR agency and corporate clients throughout the UK and Europe. The company is UK based and distributes news to its large database containing thousands of online media which cover a range of industries including Telecoms, IT, Consumer Tech, Gaming, Broadcast, Pharma/Healthcare and Banking and Finance. It provides a unique service by not only distributing news and multimedia content but by providing clients with the online editorial and blog coverage their news has generated. webitpr was the first UK distribution company to introduce the Social Media News Release – a new kind of news release designed for the online world that includes multimedia and Web2.0 tools and platforms.
 
He is a Chartered Accountant and has previously spent over nine years with PricewaterhouseCoopers working in the Corporate Finance and Business Advisory service lines.

Marek Vaygelt

Marek is Head of the Technology and Telecoms Consulting division at YouGov.

He has 20+ years experience in the market research industry in the UK, France and South Africa working for a number of major research agencies and consultancies. He has also lectured in Marketing. Marek holds an Honours degree in Economic and Social History from the University of Leicester and a Diploma in Marketing Management from the South African Institute of Marketing Management.

Jeremy Brown

Jeremy founded Sense Worldwide in 1999. At Sense Worldwide, Jeremy leads global innovation projects and works as a consumer strategist and adviser to many of the world’s leading companies including Nike, MTV, Nokia, Vodafone, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Diageo and many others. Before Sense Worldwide, Jeremy began his career in organisational development before moving on to the creative world of advertising where he worked as a strategic planner at JWT London. Here he was a founding member of the New Media Group; moving on after 5 years he lead New Media at GYRO Group.
